Atelier PRO has been asked to design a state of the art medical university campus in the Middle East. The facility will enable medical students to acquire information and experience from the medical hospital. The design covers a mixture of a medical faculty, a hospital, a gym and a mosque where several end users can meet, work and enjoy the qualities of the properties.
Healthcare icon in the region The strategic location of the Medical City is located between two important cultural and historical cities. This features the importance of designing both an icon, while preserving its Arabic identity. Instead of providing a western perspective, the architectural agenda was to rediscover a regional Arabian identity in contrast to the non-contextual modern interventions of nowadays.
