Atelier PRO wins architecture award for best school design in Moscow

Atelier PRO has been credited by the municipality of Moscow for the best architecture school design in Moscow. This was announced in December 2016 by Chief Architect Sergey Kuznetsov, the president of the Commission for Architecture and Urban Planning of the city of Moscow.

It involves the Letovo School design, a school for about one thousand students located southwest of Moscow. The school campus (approximately 35,000 m²) is part of the new district Novaya Moskva which is being developed as part of a master plan. For this project Atelier PRO closely cooperates with the Russian partner agency Atrium.

According to the committee for architecture and urban planning (Archcouncil) the high quality and professionalism of the architectural design of atelier PRO significantly contributes to the improvement of the quality of the architecture of the public service and the urban environment of Moscow.
