Ground-breaking ceremony for International School Delft

Friday 1 September, saw the ground-breaking ceremony for our project International School Delft - Secondary. Alderman Karin Schrederhof, school director Minke Veeneklaas, regional director Jan-Andries Wolthuis, Lucas Education board chairman Ewald van Vliet and students from ISD's Student Council symbolically 'got their hands dirty' to mark the official start of construction.

The new building will be located directly adjacent to the campus of the TU Delft. The design seeks a careful integration into this academic environment, while at the same time representing the educational vision of the ISD. The result is a school building that is tailor-made for its students and clearly occupies its own place within the campus-like environment of the TU.
