“Circularity isn't a question, it's a must” — TU Delft interview with Dorte Kristensen

Last summer, a team from TU Delft interviewed Dorte Kristensen, director of atelier PRO and expert in sustainable design, about her vision of circularity in architecture, and about the role of the architect in the transition to a circular built environment.

The interview was part of the Practitioners Interviews Series for the course 'Circularity in Architecture and the Built Sciences'. In the interview, Dorte explains her motives for circular design, why every architect should incorporate circularity into his or her practice and - with our EDGE Stadium project as a case study - how its principles can be applied in the real, built world. ”

It's not just about the star projects, it's about every project. Of course, we still need to create the best possible, most beautiful architecture, but it's not about the big 'A', it's about the big picture. It's about leaving a better world behind.”
