Collaboration
A successful design is a collaborative effort. It requires strong, positive cooperation with all parties involved – from the client to the contractor. We dedicate significant time and attention to fostering these connections because we firmly believe in the power of collaboration.
Each project begins with an in-depth introduction – not only with the client and future users but also with the project itself. Before we start designing, we take time to fully understand the assignment, ensuring that we also uncover any dreams and unspoken desires. This requires empathy and creative imagination, which we believe are key roles of the architect.
Throughout the design process, we schedule regular feedback and coordination meetings with the client. For larger projects, we also organize workshops, presentations, and site visits to delve deeper into the specifics. Additionally, we have extensive experience with participatory processes, which help build consensus and inspire enthusiasm among stakeholders.
During the development phase, we collaborate closely with specialists, including structural engineers, consultants for installations, building physics, sustainability experts, and landscape architects. We utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to ensure that all aspects of the project are integrated. A strong partnership with the contractor, both before and during construction, is also crucial. Thanks to our many years of proven architectural expertise, we are a valuable and equal partner in the building process.
